This tent is well designed, with very comfortable accomodation for my uses.
I do a lot of solo camping, and use my tents as a base for cycling, hill walking, and fishing expeditions.
I am an all year rounder, and regular visitor to The Brecon Beacons National Park.
I have two areas of concern, firstly, the plastic inner hooks are made in such a way that they are almost impossible to unhook from the eyes, and I had to resort to fileing the backs of the hooks to give sufficient clearence.
Secondly, the groundsheet leaked after only a shory heavy squal of rain.
Presently, the tent is back with the manufactors, undergoing a warranty inspection.
It is perhaps unfair to be too critical at this stage, and if Vango are as good as they claim, then I am assured of a satisfactory outcome.

The equinox 450 is truely an awsome tent:
Rapid errection with the two inners attached to the flysheet, great if its raining.
Excellent protection from the elements, use both doors or either one depending on wind direction
Inlcudes flysheets for hot summer nights!
Excellent attention to detailing in terms of design and manufacturing.
This is a great tern to replace my Vango force 10 which has lasted 22 years and 3 reproofings. It finally has passed on as some friends of my brother lent left jammy on the inner. The cost of a new inner was too much for and old tent so it has gone to my neighbours boys as a summer play tent. What a product!
